After successful reunion dates and blistering festival appearances across the summer with his band Dodgy, Frontman Nigel Clark will be taking to the road playing tracks from his ever expanding solo work and his back catalogue of DODGY gems with added tales, banter and humour of life in general.

After a 10 year wait Nigel Clark got back on the road with his band Dodgy to critical and personal success. Nigel’s successes have included a critically acclaimed 1st album The Dodgy Album including the much touted single Lovebirds
and with the commercial success for the 2nd album Homegrown that included the radio friendly single Staying out for The Summer (used for TV advertising currently). There followed platinum album sales for the Dodgy 3rd album Free Peace Sweet (1996, A&M Records) with x4 top 20 singles Good Enough, In a Room, If You’re Thinking of Me and Found You

In 2006 Nigel released his debut solo album 21st Century Man a poignant and personal album reflecting on the times and changes since days with Dodgy. A consummate songwriter with a love of a beautiful melody, this album will remind you of folk-pop music from yesteryear. Nigel Clark has often referenced his music heroes (as a music fan first and foremost) and there is once again a gentle simplicity to these songs and tangible audible influences from Brian Wilson to John Lennon.

Now 21st Century Man is being re-released with bonus track We’ve come too far exclusively on digital label Music Glue and available on CD format at forthcoming Gigs, Plus album track Nothing’s Free is being exclusively given away as a FREE DOWNLOAD to promote these upcoming dates.

As for Dodgy, new music is out there with EP Down In The Flood/Forgive Me now available more plans for recording in 2010, with promoters up and down the country still keen to keep them on the road and with dates still outstanding, but for now Nigel is more than happy to go out on his own and play his songs in more intimate surroundings and find’s himself in a very good place so why don’t you come and join him.
