Harajuku Night! Dress Up Night!
(July 25, 2009)Harajuku!
While many goers are dressed up as characters from Anime, Movie or Manga, others are dressed in Gothica or as Lolita. It is really a crazily fun place. Harajuku fashion is all about being creative and mixing together different styles and influences, and has proved to be incredibly popular internationally. This is a great chance for everyone in London to escape to Japan!
Club Harajuku is a great place for free expression and to showcase your creative talents, the competition for the best dressed party goer is fierce! Many of Saturday's goers will be dressed up as characters from Anime, Movie or Manga, others are dressed in Gothica or as Lolita.
So, while Japan is really big for its live music, Harajuku! takes it all one step further. There is a selection of cherry picked bands from 7.30pm until 11pm, and then DJs until 3am. It's not a school night either, so there's even more reason to make it a large one!! Anything goes and make it crazy!!
So far there are some great acts on the bill including 'Sinner In The Mirror', who many of us saw play at Blag Club a few months ago! These guys (and girl) are a great new band! Plus 'Anime' band - Total Maverick Decadence - who happily played on the launch of Harajuku back in January. Also on the bill are DJ Daztronik, Rascal van Russ and special guests playing the best Indie, Rock, Jpop and even a bit of trance in the last hour. Party with us until 3am!!
